What Do St. Patrick and a Tree Have in Common?

Well we are half way through March and YES, Spring has arrived! Not that I don’t like February and what it brought but Spring is something else. There is something in the air. Longer days, daylight until late in the evening and the Spring Equinox. People slowly coming out of their hibernation. Trees blossoming again. One tree in particular, the Faerie Tree, it tells the story of Niamh and Oísin. They planned to meet beneath the magical Faerie Tree. It’s an ancient Irish romance tale.

If you’ve been listening to the new album you’ll know that Faerie Tree is also the name of a song from They Might See Dolphins. The wee news is that I will give it a proper video launch, with my mind to my German and Austrian friends, on St Patrick’s Day. Stay tuned and watch this space (and my Youtube channel in particular). There are already some video teasers available. The full video will be made public on St. Patrick’s Day.

It’s going to be a very busy week. That said – A good week to be Irish ;). That and a big rugby game on the 18th but that’s another story :D.  Come along if you’re around. You can see the list of all the gigs on the left sidebar. And this is the poster created for the occasion:

I hope to see you at one of the gigs for the St. Patrick’s celebrations (there is also more to come for April!). For now, slán leat!
